Did you know that MANY Olive oils are fake? What!?

Olive oil is simply the juice extracted from fresh olives—no chemicals, heat, or further processing. To qualify as extra-virgin, the highest grade, the oil has to pass lab analysis and sensory tests set by the Madrid-based International Olive Council.

But there's ample room for deception along the production chain, as olive oil extracted in one country is often shipped to another, usually Italy, and then blended with olive oils from yet other places before being bottled and shipped off again.

Fake EVOO, in the worst-case (and illegal) scenario, is diluted with a cheap soybean or seed oil or mixed with lower-grade olive oil that's been chemically refined. These oils have been linked to obesity, heart disease and other health issues!

Within the last two years in Italy, authorities confiscated more than 2,000 tons of fake olive oil and launched an investigation into seven of the country's leading producers.

He snores until the walls rattle. She gives off a massive amount of body heat. One of you is a cover hog, kicks at night or takes consistent 3 a.m. bathroom breaks. Maybe you sleepwalk or suffer from insomnia. Such nighttime disturbances are all too common, experts say.

Even film star Cameron Diaz has an opinion on the matter, calling for separate marital bedrooms in a December 2023 podcast of “Lipstick on the Rim,” hosted by Molly Sims and Emese Gormley.

“We should normalize separate bedrooms,” Diaz said, while discussing her marriage of eight years to Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden, whom she called “wonderful.”

“To me, I would literally, I have my house, you have yours. We have the family house in the middle. I will go and sleep in my room. You go sleep in your room. I’m fine,” she said. “And we have the bedroom in the middle that we can convene in for our relations.”

’Research done by Troxel and her team found that a well-rested person is “a better communicator, happier, more empathic, more attractive and funnier” — all traits that are key to developing and sustaining strong relationships, she said. Study Here

Need to Know - Why you should stop eating oats?

What is Chlormequat, the chemical being found in Oats, and should i be worried?

A recent study by the Environmental Working Group found a chemical pesticide in oat-based foods sold in the United States — but how concerned do consumers need to be about potential health impacts?

The pesticide, chlormequat, is used as a growth regulator for plants, according to the National Library of Medicine. It is approved in Canada and other countries for use on commercial crops of cereal grains, which can be imported to the U.S.

In EWG's study, the chemical was detected in 77 of 96 urine samples taken from 2017 to 2023, with levels increasing in the most recent years. The group also tested 25 samples of non-organic oat-based foods from U.S. grocery stores, including Quaker Oats and Cheerios, and found chlormequat in 92% of them.

"Animal studies link chlormequat to reduced fertility, harm to the reproductive system and altered fetal growth," the group says.

Biohacking: Beginner’s Guide to Elevating Mind & Body

Not sure where to begin to elevate your health to the next level? Learn all about it here

With the rise of interest in optimizing our bodies and minds, particularly in science and social media, we're seeing new research advocating various therapies, supplements, and lifestyle approaches to maximize our potential. But where can we start?

Biohacking includes mental, emotional, and physical approaches to health. Mindset dictates biology, and biology dictates overall health and wellness, so it’s important to address all of these aspects to ensure you achieve your biohacking goals.

How to start Biohacking

Before you begin biohacking, it's important to understand your goals. Whether striving for longevity, health improvement, fitness enhancement, or mental well-being, each objective requires tailored approaches.

Once you know your specific goals, you can start with the methods that directly address your needs. Start with 1–2 methods and work to incorporate them into your daily routine. You can start small, and once these become a regular part of your routine, you can add more activities until you're reaching your biohacking goals.

These are the main Pillars:
1. Food as Medicine
2. Intermittent Fasting
3. Mindset and Meditation
4. Movement
5. Hot-Cold Contrast Therapy
6. Red Light Therapy
7. Supplementation
