Are Eggs the worlds best superfood? Find out why…
Last week, we featured a link about eggs being a superfood, we receive several emails questioning this, and asking why, well let’s dive deeper.
Historically, eggs have been considered unhealthy because they contain cholesterol. Well that’s not the truth, at all…
A large egg contains 207 mg of cholesterol, which is a lot compared to most other foods (1Trusted Source).
However, many studies have shown that the dietary cholesterol in eggs does not adversely affect cholesterol levels in the blood.
In fact, eggs raise your “good” HDL cholesterol and change your “bad” LDL cholesterol from small and dense to large, which is benign (2Trusted Source, 3Trusted Source, 4Trusted Source).
Not only that, they are packed with essential aminos and vitamins! Also Cholesterol is extremely important in hormone production, and testosterone, brain and cellular function, and more.
One analysis of 23 studies on egg consumption and health discovered that consumption of 2 or more eggs a day was not associated with increased cardiovascular risk compared to one or no eggs. In fact, higher egg consumption was associated with a decreased risk of coronary artery disease (5Trusted Source).
****Try to get Pasture-Raised or organic. Even better, shot for soy-free feed.

What’s up with those crazy masks all the Celebs are wearing? Anti-Aging?
Those robotic-looking light-up face masks you've seen people wearing on social media aren't just for likes and comments. The devices, inspired by in-office treatments, are LED face masks, and not only do they make for great (or scary?) photo opps, they rejuvenate skin in the comfort of your home. "LED face masks use light-emitting diodes to penetrate the skin at various wavelengths; this improves cellular performance," explains Lauren Berlingeri, cofounder and co-CEO of HigherDOSE.
These masks can increase collagen production, reduce fine lines, and reduce signs of aging and hyper-pigmentation. So it’s known for its anti-aging effects.
While in-office LED light therapy delivers more powerful strengths, at-home devices (ideally with wavelengths between 600 and 900 nanometers) offer subtle improvements and maintenance. These devices can come with several waves of light, the most common being blue and red LED light therapy. Each light offers different benefits. .
This is our Top Mask Pick based on reviews HERE. This one covers the neck and chest also.
